Stars Above, Hot Springs Below, Purpose All Around

SASANE Sisterhood certified training class with survivors learning professional tourism skills
5 daysEasy–Moderate
Impact
5 days trekking to natural hot springs hidden in river gorges beneath the Annapurna range. Soak under stars in mineral-rich thermal water, trek through rhododendron forests, and disconnect completely. Your SASANE guide knows every trail to these hidden places because she has made them her own over years of leading them, walking these paths until she can guide them with her eyes closed. Adventure, rest, and the quiet confidence of a guide who earned her expertise the hard way.

What to Expect

Natural thermal pools

Natural thermal pools

Sulphur-rich hot springs flow year-round from deep within the earth, maintaining 38-45°C regardless of season. Locals have used these waters for generations to treat arthritis, skin conditions, and fatigue.

Mountain panoramas

Soak in steaming water while gazing up at the massive south face of Dhaulagiri (8,167m) — the world's 7th highest peak, directly visible from the springs. At sunset the peak turns gold, then pink, then deep purple.

Gentle trekking

The trails here are moderate and scenic — through citrus groves, past waterfalls, and along terraced villages at comfortable altitudes (1,200-2,100m). No extreme fitness required.
