Trafficking → Training → Trekking. The Full Arc.

8 daysEasy to Moderate
Impact8 days witnessing the full SASANE arc — from trafficking awareness programmes in at-risk villages, through the 6-month training centre, to professional guides leading real treks. You will meet women at every stage and understand how a self-sustaining travel business funds prevention and brings survivors into professional work. SASANE's model has been recognised internationally — by the UNWTO, The Guardian, and the To Do Award — because it is commercially self-sustaining. This trip shows you why — unedited, unpolished, and deeply honest.

What to Expect

Guided by survivors
Every guide on this journey is a SASANE graduate who chose to share her story. Walking with them in the mountains, sharing meals, hearing their experiences first-hand — this is not a documentary.

Rural Nepal
The trek takes you through villages little changed over centuries — stone houses, terraced fields, and community wells where neighbours gather. The warmth of rural Nepali hospitality is legendary.

Behind the scenes
Centre visits are frank, dignified, and illuminating. You see the training facility where women learn mountaineering, first-aid, and language skills.

Celebration & joy
The community celebration is not staged for tourists. It is a genuine gathering of women who have walked through darkness and found light — and want to share that joy with you.
From Trafficking to Trekking — See the Full Arc
Over 8 days you witness the complete SASANE journey: the training centre, the community sites, the graduated guides at work, the prevention programs in action. This is not a highlight reel — it is the unedited truth of what survivor-led enterprise looks like. Since 2016, 200+ survivors have completed the program you are witnessing — 300+ tourism jobs created across Nepal. This is the work that earned SASANE the To Do Award for Human Rights in Tourism — the first Nepali enterprise ever to receive it. Read more in our blog
