What to Expect

Namchebazar in the evening for the rest
Climb to 3,440m before dawn for the definitive Everest panorama — the surrounding turns gold while you stand in silence above the clouds. This is the photograph that captures immense stature of the mountain which overwhelms almost everything infront of it.

Sherpa culture
Namche Bazaar is the Sherpa capital — a bustling hill town with bakeries, gear shops, and a weekly market where yak herders trade. Your SASANE guide introduces you to the community she trained alongside.

Tengboche Monastery
Nepal's most famous monastery sits on a ridge with Ama Dablam towering behind it. Attend evening prayers with the monks, hear chanting echo off the mountain walls.

SASANE-certified guide
Your guide completed high-altitude expedition training on top of SASANE's standard 6-month programme. She monitors your acclimatisation daily, sets the pace, and ensures your safety is never compromised while the adventure remains real.
Your Everest Trek Funds Freedom
Every booking on this route funds continued training of trafficking survivors into professional mountain guides. The Everest region is Nepal's most prestigious guiding assignment — a SASANE guide leading here proves that survivors belong at the highest level of the profession, not in charity programmes. Your trek is evidence that the model works. . SASANE won the To Do Award 2023 — the first Nepali enterprise recognised for Human Rights in Tourism at this international level. Read more in our blog
